I need the artist and title of song - all I have is a few lyrics which goes as follows: "when I die, I hope I will be, that kind of man you'd thought I would be" It may also have "love love love you". Please Email me if you know it! Much appreciated!

Can't say it rings a bell, Ray. How about some info to narrow the search--approximate year, which chart (top 40, country, easy listening, etc.), type of performer (male, female, group).

Somewhere in the dank corner of my mind it almost sounds like an old Carter Family tune - but the "love love love me" throws that out. Definitely need a narrowing of the time frame.

Rather vague my friend. it sounds familiar but i'll be buggered if i can place it. A time frame would help and possibly a few more lyrics. Kindest reguards, Neil

Sounds like one of those vocal groups around Chi-Lite/O'Jay time. Long, nine-note melodic phrase on "Beeeeeeeeee." Same kind of sound as "Have You Seen Her?"
