I spoke to Bert tonight and he told me, Rob, was the "elf" who gave up his Friday night, stayed at work, after hours, to make sure the Mudcat came back for all of us Mudcataholics.

Thanks indeed. I always get a hollow feeling that this time it's gone and it's not going to come back. But I had a nice ramble round the Mudcat Song Book which wasn't affectede, and I've got bookmarked. Found some songs there that I'd completely forgotten writing...

I'm still not sure whether it's Mudcataholics or Mudcatholics. Rick's version is probably less likely tio give rise to awkward misunderstandings I suppose.

It wasn't our fault this time. It was our ISP who changed something and poor Greg had to sit around and wait for several hours for them to finish their "Ten Minute" job.

The Mudcat Songbook is really Aine's songbook. She does all the work out there in Arlington Texas and it's not on our machine.

My diversion was going over to PalTalk where I stayed far too long considering I am paying by the minute for internet access. I enjoyed it though an getting there earier than usual at least gave me the chance to play some instruments for a change.
