Subject: RE: note request - Roadhouse Blues (The Doors) From: Helen Date: 31 Jan 01 - 06:44 PM I love this boogie style of music. This is my favourite Doors song. I've sent you an e-mail with a copy of the midi file. If you don't have music notation software which you can load the midi into so that you can the music try the free demo version of Noteworthy. It's a neat little programme, worth buying (cheap) but you can print the music out from the demo, unlike other demo programmes. http://www.ntworthy.com/ Helen, in Oz Helen

Subject: RE: note request - Roadhouse Blues (The Doors) From: Sorcha Date: 31 Jan 01 - 06:49 PM Thank you Helen. I was a litte confused by the "for harmonica" part. Notes for harmonica should be the same as for any other treble instrument......but I don't know where the notes are on a harmonica--that is, "when to suck and when to blow"-----and spaw, DON'T START!!! |

Subject: RE: note request - Roadhouse Blues (The Doors) From: Lonesome EJ Date: 31 Jan 01 - 07:35 PM I think the band is in E on the record, and Jimbo is playing an A Blues harp. My suggestion is to play along with the record until you get the gist of it. |
