Hey, some may notice that their last visits are mysteriously being set to strange days long ago. In fact, everyone is being reset once in a while to the same meaningless date. Today it's August 10 (which turns out to be Oct. 8 backwards). So I figured that there is an obscure link somewhere that one may hit that resets us all. After searching all our pages (about 100) I found it and erased it. It was an old reset for the "new links since your last visit".

So, all is fixed and it should not happen again. Sorry.

Well, Max, that glitch led me to a message from you, and I think it was dated 10/1/96, welcoming everyone to the forum. I think that must have been the very first forum message. Has it really been a year? It took me a while to find this site - I think I came along in the spring. I've certainly enjoyed the forum. Thanks for all the love and hard work you've put into it, Max.

note...if you do NOT reset this feature ever so often,it will become almost usless...i.e., it will have so many entries that you can't look thru them anyway...sort of like forgetting to cancel the newspaper when you go on vacation....
