When I get "handed the mic", does the audio still come thru my system, or is it a send and receive situation? If it continues, I'd need to cut the sound at this end. Mike

Mike, there is a "hands free" (or full duplex) set up in Paltalk that can be used for a one to one conversation but in the groups, you need to hold the control key down to be heard and it is sraight send and receive.

The accessibiliy options in Windows - settings/control panel (you may need to install this using add/remove programs depending on your current Windows installation) provides a software solution.

The other solutions are mechanical ones - mine is a packet of cigarette papers wedged between shift and cotrol. There was another thread on this recently but I can't find it (I'm a bit pushed for time righ now).

Mike, various of us do different things, but what has worked well for me is a little wooden wedge that I cut from a shingle. I press the key down and stick the wedge between the key and the edge of the keyboard. I know that some folks use a weight or a spring clamp or folded cardboard. Experiment.

Thanks guys, is shift or control or both the operative key? Mike
