There was one Volkswagon bus that had legs sticking out of it most mornings. Yes you can sleep in your van there.

Ron, there's no problem with the vehicle. Sounds like a real treat. I might actually have to go to the evening concert this year. If you're there, stroll into the infield and look for the sign of the Woodchuck. Jamming obligatory.

I'm told the camping is primative but not unliveable (I don't know - they were sold out before I go tthere last year) - and yes, as I understand it you can drive vehichles in if you are camping.

I had to pass on it last year because of other festivals,but i've left that weekend open. I'm looking forward to it.
B.T.W., What's the camping situation like there? Will I be able to drive a vehicle to the campsite? If so,I'll be able to camp in the van.

If you have never been to Old Songs, in Altamont, NY, but have wanted to go then this is the year to do it. Those of you who do go, don't miss this year. I just got the Waterson/Carthy newsletter and it says that Norma Waterson and Martin Carthy will be there this year. The dates are June 22-24, 2001. So, make your decision now and go. Mudcatters gather at the Folk-Legacy booth and a great time is had by all. Hope to see lots of 'catters there.
