Hmmmm, well you all seem like a really cool bunch of peeps. I can't wait to talk to y'all some more. Bill/sables warned me about catspaw, so i'll keep an eye out, although that makes it a bit more difficult to drive cos it keeps rolling along the dashboard and some of my mates r very squemish!!

SOrrry, I've just got up and I'm in one of them moods......NEVERMIND. I'm probably the most mentally disturb person on here, I am pretty freaky....ask bill/sables or eric the viking!!

I so love this type of thing. Its really nice to finally have met a group of peeps just......like.......ME!!!!

Great to know you came back and we didn't scare you off Jez. Kendall explained how we are pretty well and just like any family there is the occasoinal squabble that blows over in a day of so usually just like other family situations. Glad you're part of the family Jez.

I dont usually dwell on the truth, but, Jez...I think you will find this to be a group of very bright, well adjusted caring people. It's just that some of us dont "let on". There is one possible exception...Spaw...those possum farts tend to addle his brain. Also, Matt... as long as he doesn't eat too many chocolate covered coffee beans, he is fairly stable. Stick around, sometimes it is hilarious!

Jez,

Aren't you glad you asked for help. You have already learned more in one day than I did in my first 3 months here. That's because I have a stubborn streak and I ain't smart enough to ask for help. I just plow throung till I hit an immovable force and turn in another direction to start plowing again. Now you know what helpful people we really are. Atleast we try to the best of our individual ability and you can't ask for much more than that.

Typos be damned, I'm sleepy and got a busy day tomorrow. Jez, could you take over watching Amergin for the day. He can't be left alone for a full day or he gets lost and we have to go find him and lead him back home. It's the worst case of early onset alzheimers recorded to date.

Don't believe anything that Amergin says about me!! He just thinks he's a SEX GOD, but Alison has the photo to prove otherwise. Don't believe any of the rest of them either for that matter. I'm really a sweet little old lady that sits in her rocker knitting booties for homeless kittens.

You're definitely a part of the family now Jez! Sure hope that you have Pal Talk and can join us at the concert. I will open my Privacy setting so that you can pm me or any of the rest of us that you recognize the names of so that one of us can just invite you in. Not all of us were able to have the same Pal Talk ID as our Mudcat ID but a lot of us do.

I truly hope that, going by your ID., you are a bawdy one since I feel like the bawdiest one here. AggieBethie is giving me a good run for my money though and she is still just a child so may have hopes of catching up one day.

There is no MudCat chat per se, just this posting fourm, where we often do chat, but it's not quite "live chat" For that, as they said above, use PalTalk, or get a chat number, lots of us have them for ICQ, etc. Do go and read the Newcomer's FAQ, it will help a lot! Welcome to Mudcat heaven. I'm not a lot of help on showing people around but before the day is over I bet there's dozens that are here to assist you. Sure hope you have Pal Talk also 'cause we have some great music rooms on there and when we catters get together it's always fun! You can send personal messages to individual members by going to the personal pages and clicking on any name you wish to connect with. I have my most fun right here in the threads though. We banter back and forth continuously. Just don't take any of the B.S. seriously. Sometimes someone just has a need to blow some steam and that's okay too.

Well, first of all, WELCOME TO THE MUDCAT!. Secondly, just read some of the threads around here and you'll get a good feel of the wonderful people that haunt this place....

Now with chat...there is a Mudcat Song Circle held almost every night on Paltalk...Fist you need to download it by clicking here if you have Winblows....then you set up a Paltalk name and sign on...then you click the groups button at the top of your paltalk screen....and when the groups window pops up, you scroll down til you find music and you click that...another window should pop open describing the rooms that are being used at that moment...scroll down til you find Mudcat Song Circle and you click on that....This is a LIVE only music room, that permits you to sing, play an instrument, or just sit back and enjoy it all...The room is usually open by 1800 Mudcat time...Hope to see you there sometime!
