The Hills That I Call Home It's by Robert Amos, of the Colorado BG group, Front Range.

We did it on our first CD. We often use it as an opener for our gigs.

Folks I am gonna have to differ with the referenced/posted
source of lyrics...

I and the wife have listened to the song TWENTY/LEB'N times and
he definitely AINT saying

Every season has an ENDING....else the singer has a very
pronounced LISP....i hear an [....ST...] sound in that line...

anyone care to lend their ears, be glad to email mp3/wav to you

sure would like to know the KEE-RECT word....

The singer definitely DOES NOT SAY - Every Season ("has an ending..)"
It is something else - but that DOES sound proper.
I would dearly love to know what in hell it DOES SAY!!!

I listened to Front Range singing THE HILLS THAT I CALL HOME on Spotify, and this is what I hear:

Verse 1, line 3: "Where my daddy lived before me"

Verse 2, line 1: "We believe in simple livin'"

Chorus, line 3: "Where the wild grass fills the meadows"

Chorus, line 5: "Lie the hills that I call home"

Verse 4, line 3: "Every season has an ending"

And in verse 4, line 1, I don't hear any "s" after "there." He might be singing "there're" for "there are" but it sounds exactly like "there."
