No, not sure; will have to get back to the person who's looking for the song. They did say it wasn't about war or a rebel song, but about unhappy romance rather. Thank you both anyway.

Having already checked all the song collections I have plus the DT, might I ask if any of you have the lyrics to a song entitled "The Cruel Game", apparently performed by Planxty on their "Cold Blow and the Rainy Night" album?
