Don't usually use this forum for this but given the Toronto and area membership and it features a mudcatter I hope it is OK:

Rick Fielding, Grit Laskin and Paul Mills (aka Curly Boy Stubbs) will be joining forces for their second show together (and first at the Flying Cloud)

This is our second annual concert together and is usually a lot of fun. We even REHEARSE!

I need to get over to see you for some lessons, Rick. This "rehearse" thing is something I am not familiar with. Is it some arcane, musical theory thing? Or is it yet another accessory that I must purchase just to prove that not one thing has ever been made for musicians that I haven't purchased.

Shore wish I could make it over for this concert. Bet it will be a doozy. Probably worth the cost just to see Peter T. nekkid.

Well, lets see. Paul Mills was Stan Rogers' producer and favourite guitar player, and Grit Laskin (other than making the best and most expensive hand made axes in the world) is the funniest guy i know. Good songwriter too!

It looks like I'm going to have the good fortune to be able to attend this Concert. I hope I have the opportunity to meet a lot of Mudcatters while I'm there. I'll be heading back to the States the next day, so it'll be my last chance in Canada (for the time being, anyway).

I have no idea how I end up having to take 9(!) instruments to this gig! Paul's bringing 2, and Grit 3. Looking forward to the gig. Should be fun.
