Can any one HELP me i am tring to get the lyrics for a song sung by Isla St Clair. written by Ian Lynn & Alison Taylor, about the WW2 in the desert of North Africa. if any oen can help it would be appeciated. Many thanks Ferret

Sorry I do not have any more other than it was used as a theme song on a documentary on the WW2 desert war that I recorded on video from the Discovery channel and got the details off the credits.

The program was called "War - The Inside Story: Duel in the Desert." The music credit was "Ian Lynn and Alison Taylor, 'Under Desert Skies' sung by Isla St Clair." A note at the end says "Produced by Flashback Television in association with The Imperial War Museum for The History Channel." And it gives this address:

I suppose you could try contacting them.

It's possible the song was commissioned for that program, and it hasn't been released on any CD. And maybe it never will be, especially if it's very short, say, only one verse.
