Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: Noreen Date: 01 Mar 01 - 10:23 PM IWTSHL, I thought at first you'd be a Richard Thompson fan, but that would be IWTSTBLT, no? Thanks for the comments. The concentration of 'catters is getting higher in Swinton! Look forward to meeting you (again). Noreen |

Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: bill\sables Date: 02 Mar 01 - 01:37 PM When I get them sorted I will post them, Some people have moved and others have changed cookies but I hope to be up to date this weekend Bill |
Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: bill\sables Date: 02 Mar 01 - 07:10 PM Here are the results so far; I have put All of Scotland under Scotland and All of Wales under Wales. Yorkshire is all North South East and West, from the Humber up to the Tees Other counties are as they were before new ones were introduced eg. Manchester is still in Lancashire. You may notice that one or two places have lost people, Wales has lost a few because some people have moved and some whom I thought were in Wales in fact lived in Shropshire. This is a list made up from those who have posted to this thread and others I know exist Cheers Bill Scotland 12 Wales 8

Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: Sue vG Date: 11 May 01 - 01:47 PM Bob and I are Cheshire Sweetie - but don't hold that against us! Actually Bob comes from Anglesey and I was born and raised in Manchester, but they are both North of Watford so I guess we qualify as Northerners! We have also introduced someone from Chipping Campden and someone from Sth Normanton in Derbyshire so you can add them to the list too. Sue vG |

Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: Peter K (Fionn) Date: 12 May 01 - 05:49 AM But Sue M, it looks like you're not truly in the club yet! Membership has one or two advantages (you can track the threads that interest you, and send private messages direct to other catters without having to disclose email address, etc) and of course it costs nothing. But maybe you're stuck with having to use other people's PCs. |

Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: Peter K (Fionn) Date: 20 May 01 - 09:02 AM Adi, that's the closest a Mudcatter's ever been to Bilsthorpe, I think. What sort of stuff are you interested in? Do you know anything about the folk club at the Brown Cow, or anyone who's into Irish traditional? If you sign on with Mudcat (free) we could continue this privately to avoid hijacking the thread. Or you could send a message to my email address, which is pk@village-wordsmith.com. |

Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: GUEST Date: 21 May 01 - 07:26 PM Don't forget those of us who are very private by nature, who squirm at the thought of 'get togethers' but still enjoy the mudcat in our own anonymous way. Subject: RE: How many UK catters: Part 3 From: Peter K (Fionn) Date: 22 May 01 - 03:18 PM Guest John Evans, you are now less anonymous than most of us. Posting contact details here is not recommended, given that there is absolutely no restriction on who can call in. If you join the club, you are immediately contactable via Mudcat without anyone ever needing to know who or where you are; you can contact the rest of us the same way; exchange email addresses aand otherdetails by this more private route; and you can do other things, like put a trace on useful threads, etc, etc. Not bad value considering it's free. |
