you might remeber a thread a few months ago about my sister back home in Belfast....

Rosie is ill again.... her ulcerative collitis has flared up... and she is in pain......

obviously they haven't got her medications sorted yet....

all prayers, good thoughts etc would be appreciated....

I certainly feel for her, Alison. I just got over my huge flare-up. Got lots of tests done, showed it isn't Crohn's..but still just the UC. I'll be praying for Rosie. And I hope they get her medicine right. They gave me antibiotics for a week, and put me on the Asacol...it's been ok ever since. I wish that stuff would work for her too...

thanks everyone... the steroids have kicked in and she is feeling better..........

she is already on acidophilus.... I put her on a heap of things last time....

Hang in there kid. I had an aunt who suffered quite severely with ulcerative colitis. But it passed with time and treatment and she died at over ninety years of age!
