Really, i just don't know where to start to look! I go out and about entertaining quite a lot singing and playing my fiddle so if there are any super songs that would be suitable for singing in public please tell me! ( minkmagnet@hotmail.com ) Also, any good fiddle sites where i can print off music? I'm 15 by the way! Just so no one send me any rude songs! (i would learn them but not sing them when i go out! Shogie - JC's Tune finder click here

has thousands of fiddle tunes that can be downloaded as midi, ABC format or standard notation (several formats available - postscript, pdf and gif, I think)

For that site, you do have to know a tune name.

there is a mirror site for the Digital Tradition that will give you notation if the DT contains a tune for the song.

That is at Yet Another Digital Tradition

The digital tradition can be searche with keywords - so if you have some idea of a subject you would like to sing about - then you can search on that.

Have you read the FAQ at the top of the Forum page yet? There is tons of information in there.

And welcome to the MudCat Cafe!

The trick to discovering answers to your questions, Shogie, is to check back on the threads you create. E-mails are not normally part of the process here. However, by the time you read this I will have sent one anyway.

Best of luck to you!

Allan C.
