Subject: lyrics to 'price's last raid'

Can anyone help me? I'm trying to locate the lyrics to "Price's Last Raid". It's about Confederate General Sterling Price's attempt to capture Saint Louis. A yankee army came down out of Saint Louis and met Price. The two armies kind of do-si-do'd across middle Missouri toward Kansas City. A yankee army out of Kansas City came down and joined the dance. It made for an interesting tactical decision by Price. Please help if you know the lyrics. Thanks, Tom

It was on July (not sure of the month anymore?) the 7th in the year of 62
We had a sore engagement with Abe Lincoln's crew
.

Check out threads called Battle of Pea Ridge, you'll also find the eariler versions in the DT. Barry
