Subject: Lyr Add: LONG LONESOME ROAD From: GUEST,Ade Date: 17 Mar 01 - 09:23 AM Has anyone got the full set of words to the following song? - I'm sure there must be more but can't find any reference on Mudcat - Sounds like an American song so I'm hoping our American friends will know if more words exist. What I have is: Won't you look up and down that long lonesome road? Hang down your head and cry, my Lord, Hang down your head and cry. Well, I wish to the Lord I'd never seen your face Or heard your lyin' tongue, my Lord, Or heard your lyin' tongue. Well, I wish to the Lord I'd never been born Or died when I was a baby, Lord, Or died when I was a babe. And that's all I've got!! Grateful for any more.. Adrian |

I'm new around here too but it's still a lot of fun bouncing off the walls. |
