Hi there. Some of you may have heard me sing a couple of my brother's pop/rock love songs in HearMe or Paltalk. I was going to do my own midis of them, just instrumental and put them up at mp3. and there is another site I want to put them up at, however that one has to have voice, too, not just melody.

Anyway, I have come to the conclusion that I need a good male voice with guitar and possibly one or two other instruments to make anything decent. I've heard a lot of you and I know some of you have done back up tracks and then added your own main melody and voice. So, I am figuring there's got to be one of you who might not mind trying a couple of these and see what you would do with them AND I would like to pay you for your time, effort, and the midi.

I say male voice, because the two or three I'd like to try first were written for male voice, mid-range, almost tenor, I think. Like Ivan B, Paul G, oh, heck just about any of you!*BG*

Anyhow, if any of you are interested, I can provide lyrics, lead sheets (if I can find them! We just recently moved!) and/or a midi of me croaking them out so you can get the tune down, AND a contract that we both agree on.

Thanks very much!

kat

Hmmm. Maybe I'm not understanding you, Kat. A MIDI is a synthesizer recording. You want some kind of voice and acoustic instrument recording, right? WAV or MP3, maybe?

LOL, yeah, Joe, I guess you're right, I think! I thought I needed a midi to be able to submit to any of those, but, I'll bet it is a WAV I am thinking of?

Okay Rog just explained, I think I have it right. A midi is somethign I could manipulate and add to or from etc. A WAV or mp3 would be more like a finished product, right? Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks,

kat
