Hi,
Kathy Wallis has e-mailed me to tell me that the Fox & Hounds Weekend at Bridestow in Devon has been cancelled due to a Foot & Mouth Outbreak in Bridestow. Please tell all you know who were planning to go. Next years dates are: 10,11 & 12 May 2002. Good singing weekend, campsite behind pub, see you NEXT YEAR?!

We were talking to Kathy and Jon on the phone last weekend soon after they had decided that the weekend would have to be cancelled. It's sad to loose such a brilliant weekend, but we agreed that they had no choice.

When the current crisis is over, I guess we'll just have to go and spend a weekend at the F&H, with or without some singing. It's an excellent pub right on the edge of Dartmoor, good beer, good food, and a brilliant landlord. Well worth a visit at any time, but this year Franks business is going get hit pretty hard too.

We've already got the dates marked on the calendar for next year.
