In a separate thread I enquired about John Hartford. On one of his records he sings a song with the above title - or similar. I don't know if it's appropriate for this forum, but from memory it makes some references to the site of the Grand Old Opry.

Any clues please?

It originally appeared on a various artists collection 'The Festival Tapes' Flying Fish FF-068 in 1978. It has been reissued on CD John Hartford 'Me Oh My How the Time Does Fly: An Anthology' Flying Fish FLY 440. See Rounder site for details.
