Subject: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: Steve Latimer Date: 27 Mar 01 - 02:38 PM Sorry I can't blueclickything, but you have to check this page out. It has audio of actors etc. doing Rock & Roll Songs. Not only does it have the seriously awful Pat Boone Heavy Metal album, but it has Sebastian Cabot doing Dylan and some other terrible stuff. You have to hear it. www.fadetoblack.com/hallofshame/ |

Subject: RE: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: Greyeyes Date: 27 Mar 01 - 03:21 PM Leonard Nimoy, Proud Mary; if I hadn't heard it I wouldn't have believed it. |
Subject: RE: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: BobP Date: 27 Mar 01 - 04:55 PM For the record, Sebatian Cabot's deadly serious take on Like a Rolling Stone" is priceless. I always wondered if he hurt himself, speaking with his tongue wedged that far into his cheek.
If I had never heard John Prine's and Mr. Cabot's viewpoints on things dylanish,

Subject: RE: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: catspaw49 Date: 28 Mar 01 - 10:28 AM I bookmarked this for entertaining friends. What a riot!! How could you all have possibly picked a favorite???? Simply unbelievable. I do think Rick should use Shatner on his next Dylan show................. Spaw |
Subject: RE: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: GUEST,Matt_R Date: 28 Mar 01 - 10:30 AM I saw the "No More Mr Nice Guy" album by Pat Boone at Circuit City. He even sings Metallica's "Enter Sandman". What a hoot! |
Subject: RE: Rock & Roll Hall of Shame From: Steve Latimer Date: 28 Mar 01 - 10:46 AM 'Spaw, Rick should feature both Shatner and Sebastian Cabot on his next Dylan show. Matt R, I had borrowed the Pat Boone CD from my local library and was absolutely stunned by his treatment of the Heavy metal stuff. I think my favourite was Ozzie's Crazy Train, but they're all special. The whole CD is on the link. Check out Stairway to Heaven.
