Subject: Help: 23-SKIDOO From: GUEST,Walkinman Date: 01 Apr 01 - 06:48 PM Does anyone know the origin of the term 23-Skidoo? It is used in a few songs(John Prine's "Jesus, the missing years"). I think it means to leave, make your getaway, scram, skidattle, etc. I don't know for sure, just curious as to the origin of this phrase. Thanks, wm |
