Subject: RE: Help: LADY IN RED From: tiptoetulips Date: 02 Apr 01 - 01:21 PM If you're talking about the pop song from 1986, it's on Chris De Burgh's CD "Into the Light" and is widely available both on-line and in record stores. |

Subject: RE: Help: LADY IN RED From: GUEST,Roll&Go-C Date: 02 Apr 01 - 01:47 PM Request is probably not related to the 1960's college frat song entitled THE LADY MECHANIC: I know a gal dressed in red, She makes her living goin' from bed to bed; She's a registered nurse, She's a registered nurse, She's a registered nurse but I love her just the same. At least this song has some potential as an affirmative action song. |

Subject: RE: Help: LADY IN RED From: Armen Tanzerian Date: 03 Apr 01 - 04:03 AM Artist: Daffy Duck Recordings: Countless Warner Brothers cartoons
I know, this is not the "Lady In Red" you were looking for, but Daffy frequently made an entrance singing the original "Lady In Red" from the 1930's. He could usually only remember the first line, and "deedle-di"ed his way through the second. Daffy was my favorite cartoon character until the appearance of "The Simpsons" -- but then my name should be a tip-off for any "Simpsons" fan. |

Subject: RE: Help: LADY IN RED From: sledge Date: 03 Apr 01 - 04:54 AM I may offend or anoy some, but I hate Chris de Burghs Lady in red, I can't say that about many songs, Ameobic dysentry is a far more attractive option. |

Subject: RE: Help: LADY IN RED From: Mr Red Date: 03 Apr 01 - 07:54 AM Strangers usually sing the phrase "Lady in Red" to me. No amount of correction to "Laddie in Red" seems to work.
