Subject: Instructional Videos From: GUEST Date: 07 Apr 01 - 09:24 PM Looking for suggestions for good instructional videos to help me learn Delta Blues. I'm an "advanced beginner," but stuck on a plateau and need to progress. Want to sound like Light'nin' Hopkins, Brownie McGee, Keb' Mo', guys like that. Thanks. |

Here are two sites that specialize in instructional audio and video tapes. They both will send catalogs if you request them: Homespun Tapes and Stefan Grossman's Workship Stefan Grossman is an expert on Delta Blues. Homespun Tapes offers lessons by Rory Block who I think is one of the best modern interpreter of Delta Blues. Good Luck with a great subject. Murray |
