I'm spending the weekend in San Mateo and wondering if there's any music I shouldn't miss. Whatya say, Bay area Catters? Any ideas? KT

What weekend? Usually a shanty weekend happening, but cant recall which weekend. You can check out Lark in the Morning, anyone working there should know. Seems to me that there a tons of sessions in SF.

There's an Irish sesion at the Starry Plough pub in Berkeley starting at 8pm. It's on the corner of Prince and Shattuck. The phone no. is [phone]. You'll usually find Catters Riggy, P.J. and sometimes BSeed there.

Oh, and the chantey sing is on the first Saturday of the month, so not this time.

Thanks, chanteyranger! I spent Thursday and Friday in Berkeley and just got home from Oakland!!! I don't think I'll be venturing out again tonight. Thanks for your suggestions and maybe I'll get back again sometime on the 2nd Saturday.I'd love to meet some other catters!!!
