This message might not belong on a Mudcat forum, per se, but Joey Ramone died Sunday. He was the lead singer of The Ramones, the New York group of gangly thugs who primatized rock and roll, introduced punk music to the world, and sang about the uselessness around them. Debate this as you like, but I consider Joey a fallen folk hero, and will drink one for him tonight.
