This song was written by Dorsey Dixon in 1932 and was about working in the southern cotton mills. I have it by Happy Traum and he does a fantastic fingerpicking job.

I asked him what key and chords he used and he said he can't remember, maybe E. I don't think it is E.

Anyone there who can help? Jman

If it is of any help, according to their 'Old-Time String Band Songbook', the NLCR did it in the key of D.
