The Popular Halfwit... Ralph Scott, is working on a CD of traditional music, here in New York - the working title is Songs My Rose Downloads Rose. It promises to be the first finished CD of Hearthside Music Cooperative. So far, it is WONDERFUL... We will send first cuts to Mudcat radio, as well as Rick Fielding, if you guys are interested...
We also will have a CD of out-takes, which show where the Popular Halfwit gets his nickname...

Larry I was sorry I never got a chance to hear Ralph sing or play when I met him in Devizes. I got the feeling he is probably very good and very modest.

BTW how is that project going? I remember you started a thread on it some time ago.

OK Folks, Ralph is keeping the head to the grind stone, some of the out takes are funnier than any thing anyone has heard yet, so we may have a Popular Half Wit Village Idiot's guide to recording,... He and I are likely going to do a song for the free speach for WBAI gig on Sat morning at the Theatre for the New City in New York. When Ralph wakes up (as usual out from jet lag) I will read him all your posts.

jet lag; sounds familiar. I had it for the whole time I was in England in June; except I did not actually get any sleep...(not more than 3 hours or so a night).

Can't wait to hear those outtakes!
