I am trying to find info regarding the massacre of a number of Afro-Americans in Carroll County, Mississippi in the late 1800's.

I had heard of it when I was a teenager living in Carroll County, but no one had any real details.

I found a couple of references to it on the 'net, but no information.

If any of you have any info, or if you can direct me to some, I will be appreciative.
