Wow, I incested in this CD last night while at the Jug Inn. I have to say it is absoloutly amazing!! Anyone who comes across it should definately buy it. It's a bargin aswell.

My personal favourites have to be:

Whitby Fisherman

Wedding Waltz

Sally Gee

But they're all good.

But Hey, don't take it from me, buy yourself one and see for yourself!!

So Bill could you explain the mix on the CD, are there songs as well as tunes, and what do you all play? I know Sam plays Accordian
Is there any chance of you putting up a wee snippet of a track or two on a website?

Roger If you look on the thread "Sables, Pirt and Stephenson in the US" there is a site where you can hear MP3s of a couple of the tunes and also a potted history of the trio. The CD has 12 tracks, 6 songs and 6 instrumentals

One of the good things about a CD is you can turn it off when you've heard enough. You want to try turning Sam off when he's pratising at home! Only joking - they've done a really good job on this CD.

I have just been to the recording studio today and they are going to re-master the LP I recordrd way back in 1970 and put it on CD. There are 14 tracks in all and these were the days when I was a "Trad" singer. I hadn't heard it for about 20 years till the other day when I understood the words of Art Thieme "The Older I get the Better I Was". It should be available at the Jug for the gathering on May 18th.
