Yes Joe. I guess we'll be looking for the no frills stops along the way!

We'll be leaving Thursday so this will be our last updates to this thread. I hope we'll see a few Mudcatters in El Paso, Phoenix or Albuquerque. We post a pic or two next week.

joe - Thanks for the camping info. I checked out their website. I suspect, though, it's a little more of a holiday or vacation spot. We're just passing through on this trip. We just wanna pitch a tent somewhere where the law won't find us curious!

Mudcatters are the best folks in the world, and we always look forward to meeting a handfull when we go abroad. We hope quite a few decide to come visit with us in El Paso, Phoenix, and Albuquerque.

I'm also looking for good campsites near these cities. any ideas?

Doogan, I don't know if you have been to the Fiddler's or not, but no alchoholic beverages are served there. Only soft drinks, fruit drinks, coffee, etc. Cover will probably $3-$5. At least that's the usual.

DougR

Yes, Doogan. If you show saying you're a Mudcatter we'll give you a CD! And you can buy us a Guinness! ;-)

We hope you do make it, and bring a friend. We need the help!

Jed: I thought this thread title might get a little more attention, since you're such a popular guy! This is a duplicate thread to the one entitled "ElPaso Phnix and Albqrq Shows Mid May".

We (we is Eammons Kitchen; Mudcatters Jed Marum, guinesschik and her Mr.) will be making a quick trip up through West TX, AZ and NM over the weekend of May 13 (my birthday). We would love to see any and all Mudcatters who can possibly make the dates ... so please, please, please come by and see us if you can! We'll be handing out a CD and a warm Mudcat handshake to all of our Mudcatters who stop by to say hello! If my HTML works, the schedule looks like this:

Friday May 11 from 8:30PM 'til closing!

Wild Hares Booze & Adventure 4025 North Mesa Street El Paso, TX 79902 (915) 532-3589

Saturday May 12 from 8PM to 11PM

Fiddler's Cream Coffeehouse Fiddler's Dream Coffeehouse is located in North Phoenix, just 1 block North of Glendale Avenue on the east side of 17th Street. If you need a map, click here. (602) 435-2516

Sunday May 13 from 2PM to 4PM

O'Neill's Pub 3211 CENTRAL AVE NE Albuquerque, NM 505 256 0564

PS: We'd love to hear from you in this thread too, if you can or cannot make it - what do you know about the venues we've listed, etc.
