My father in law remembers a song with the above mentioned line in it and cannot remember who sang it or the rest of the lyrics - any help finding it would be appreciated. Thank you - it was probably popular in the 40's or 50's - he graduated from high school in 1951.

This is nothing to do with this song, but it reminded me of my first year English professor's line about Billy Graham: "He cut his suspenders and went straight to heaven". It's always struck me as a great phrase.
