i'm going to buy a cd writer, looking at sony, they have one that can be used with batteries...think of the possibilities!

mike finnigan also played on 'electric ladyland' with jimi...hammond organ.

i thought some of his solo stuff was over produced, but he's a madman, live. what a voice!

'crazed hipsters' is a classic. the website shows him with black hair...it's now white (prematurely, he's not all that old). he played college basketball in KS, he's a tall one, and sweet. i drove 4 hours in a blizzard to hear him once, told him so when i met him backstage, and he followed me out the door to bend over in half and give me a hug to thank me for coming so far!

*sigh*

woods was still in wichita last i heard, i was records keeper for a festival by the wichita blues society a few years back, jerry was there, drunk or high or both, sitting in with other acts. ever heard the saying that goes 'if you let someone sit in with you he'll either show you up or foul you up'?

well, jerry was proof of the latter, that night. bit of a roaring a-hole while in his cups. helps explain the one album thing.

i live in NY state now, wish mike would head out this way, i think he's based in cal-ee-forn-i-ay.

I found a Mike Finnigan album a while back that's OK. He also played keys with Crosby, Stills & Nash. Good singer, good player.
