Subject: Favorite Irish Session Tunes From: Shall Date: 03 May 01 - 01:57 PM I am heading to Ireland with "Claymore" and Friends, with my fiddle under my arm.I am interested in the favorite tunes of players in Ireland.I have been to a few sessions and noticed that there's a pattern to the tunes in the sets. Unfortunately, I was too busy trying to figure the tunes out before they changed. I suspect that the sets in Ireland may be quite different from those played in my area.I would appreciate all the help I can get.I am praying that my good ear will at least keep me from looking totally stupid while in Ireland. |
