Roy asks me to tell Mudcatter's in the area that he is singing at the Durham Ox, Bodmin, Friday,May 11th, and the Moorland Hotel, Wotter, Plymouth, Sun 13th. Happy to see 'Catters there.

Dear burl,

Please ask Roy, when he gets down to Bodmin, to find out how the Durham Ox got all the way to Cornwall.

I hope Roy enjoys his active retirement. I look forward to seeing him when he's at an Ox - I mean club - closer to me.

All the best,
Dan Milner

The Durham Ox is just down the road from me. In fact I'd ben there before I posted that message. The Bodmin Folk Club is at the GARLAND OX, Higher Bore Street, Bodmin, Cornwall. Well spotted Dan.

Burl, do you know if Roy will pay the airfare for a Canadian fan and his Scottish wife to come to the gigs. The fan will buy him a beer for his troubles.

Rick

Folksinging has been very good to Roy, Rick, as it has been to you. I'm sure your supposition is entirely correct. However, just to be on the safe side, check with Roy at the end of his tour.

All the best,
Dan

For those of you unable to make it to Bodmin or Plymouth, you can here him this coming Sunday May 13 on my radio program TRADITIONS on WFDU-FM. We had a wonderful conversation and shared some great songs. Roy even sang a verse or two over the phone. Have you ever heard him do Jolson??

TRADITIONS airs from 3 to 6pm Eastern Time. The converstation with Roy will air at approximately 4pm. If you are in the NYC/Northern New Jersey area you can listen in the more traditional way - on the radio at 89.1FM. From anywhere else around the globe you can listen in via the internet at www.wfdu.fm.
