Linlithgow festival will be from Friday the 7th of September to Sunday the 9th. Ceilidh in the Lowport Centre on the Friday night, Concert in the same venue Saturday night with Brian McNeil and Stravaig.

I'll be around over the weekend, so look out for the concertina player!

Scott

Festival details available at Linlithgow Folk Festival Sept 7th-9th 2001. Besides cujimmy and Jock Morris, and me, are any other 'Catters going?

Is anybody interested in the 50th anniversary celebrations of The School of Scottish Studies special conference Na Buanaichean "The Harvesters" 5-7 Sept. which commemorates the work of collectors over the years? See School of Scottish Studies Homepage and visit their Events page. At £45 its not cheap, but their work is definitely well worth saluting.

That link to School of Scottish Studies above wasn't all that clear. For conference details try Na Buanaichean-The Harvesters
