I am trying to find Information about this Barrelhouse piano player/blues shouter/nudist/satirist.He Played the New England &New York from late 60's to early 80's.

I don't know where he is now but I saw him in Salsbury Beach, MA in the 70's. He played piano buck naked and would brutally insult audience members between songs. A hell of a show. I heard he spent his winters in Florida.

He played URI a number of times around '76--'80, I think .Used to feature a tune about his ex-girlfriend Kay, encouraging audience members to inform her that he was still available. One night Marceau gave a performance at another building, and I was listening to Pie when a coed and (presumably) her mother came in for a drink after the mime show. The whole audience, on cue,happened to erupt into the song's tag line."IF YOU SEE KAY" we all roared happily.The coed and her mom left.

He used to be a regular 1974>76 at a club called BO JIMS (Bob & Jim were owners) in Worcester, Ma. Was just off Kelly Sq. He did have a vynal LP out.

He seemed to be around UMASS Amherst a lot - walking around in a leather loin cloth and vest - summer and winter,,,circa 74-76.

He now lives in Quartzsite, AZ. Owns and operates a book store. Still in loin cloth/G string..

Sweet Pie lives here in Quartzsite AZ and owns a bookstore. His name is Paul Winer, and his picture is all over the web. He just recently was invited back up to the northwest coast and did a show.

I just saw my first Sweet Pie show on Sat Dec 18, 2010. He was opening for Candye Kane at the Rhythm Room here in Phoenix. She talked him to leaving his book store for a day and be her opening act. It seems we were a virgin audience, nobody there had ever seen his act (or his as*) before. I can truly say it was a very different show and we all thoroughly enjoyed it (he even played an encore). FYI - he is still looking for Kay.

I saw him several times in Salisbury Beach at a place called the Surf, back in 1974. He sure was a blast & an excellent pianno player.

The Sweet Pie I'd like info on used to play at the strip club The Blue Moon in Tyngsboro, MA. They found his body washed up on shore in Revere, MA. He called himself Boogie in the Buff.

He is still out there, and a friend of Jay Leno. I recorded him in Amherst MA circa 1973. Lives in Arizona now and owns a bookstore. Good guy.

You can look him up on YouTube and see the bookstore. My uncle is BOB from the Bob at Bojims....I was very young when I met him. Signed a pic for me when I was sick....very nice man.

I remember! My grandmother, aunt, uncle, mother and dad took me to the Blue Moon in 1980 for my birthday. Sweet Pie, wearing naught but a sandwich sign stating "have a piece of Pie" and featuring drawings of various body parts (which he soon shed) hosted a very unique and memorable show.
