Subject: RE: Be there or be, uh, narrow? From: Linda Kelly Date: 25 May 01 - 04:03 PM There are a lot of gay music festivals in this country -usually coinciding with Gay Pride. Performers are not exclusively gay and it's a bit of a rave up if I remember correctly. I shared a house with some gay friends in London years ago and Gay Pride in London was a real hoot -a kind of Mardi Gras with jellied eels. Anyway I remember the music being really good. |

Subject: RE: Be there or be, uh, narrow? From: DonMeixner Date: 25 May 01 - 05:43 PM I really like the idea of a Gay Music festival. I've been to a number of depressing festivals and I think one that is specific to cheerful music should be a hoot. I'll bet there won't be a minor chord played the entire weekend. Don |
