Hi all.

On the Freebird:The Movie C.D. by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the last song is about 20 seconds of the song "Dixie" by a man named Bruce Brown. His name is only mentioned once. It is a wonderful instrumental on what sounds like a twelve string. I have not been able to find out anything else about him. Would love to hear some more guitar music in that style. Has anyone heard from him? Is he a musician that has any more music in that style available? (it sounds similar to the guitar music done by Ry Cooder in the movie - The Long Riders - the part where Archie Campbell was buried). Wonderful guitar work. Why are the best ones so hard to find?? :) If anyone knows anything about this gentelman, please email me at the above address, or I can check back here later. Thanks so much for your time. CavalierLady

Looks like you might be looking for the guitarist of the Charlie Daniels band. Check out the links in this Google search.

Jeff
