Do you know who sings the song on the Tennents ad. "I don't want nobody, better off alone, I'm sworn independent." I think its John Prine but can find the song on an of his albums.

Blimey! Found this by chance, and was just about to post the same query except about the song on a Russian advert for - Tuborg, piva dlya vashim kharakterom (possibly) But that's Tuborg, beer for your own character. Does the British ad have a series of pictures (ie my girlfriend would like to see me like this, my boss would like to see me like this, but I prefer to be like this etc)? Jayohjo still in Russia XX

I've just tried a search on Google. The song is Somethin' Bout You - Kevin Welch.

Yes this add is the one 'my girlfriend would like me like this' etc. I thought it sounded like John Prine. Herge
