I'm looking for the lyrics for the Scottish song, "The Lament of the Eac Suige.' An Eac suige is a kelpie, a mythical water horse. I'm interested in any songs about the creature.

I only got one hit on "kelpie" in the database, but if your interests are a little broader than that, try searching for @myth which gets you 57 songs so labelled. Warning: I put @myth on the devil, which accounts for a fair number of them, but also included are unicorns, silkies, fairies, etc. enjoy!

I suspect this song is Òran Tàladh na Eich-Uisge, which was covered in this thread Water Kelpie. Look for one of Phillipa's postings.
