In my life of music I have heard and seen much. I have survived the folk scare of the 60's which I know was my birthing. I have sat at the feet of the old timers. I have seen many great young players and writers of songs come and wait patiently for more as I beileve I will live some summers yet. I have had many great favorites. I am not wise though old. I am I suppose quite a regular fellow. But today it occured to me that Dean Stevens folk singer, songwriter, human being, is the soul of everything thats good in the world. Not just in folk music or counter culture but in all the world. If you want something warm and real and true and original seek him out. I love him.
