Just received this from Mudcatter, Mike Byers, who made one of my "Noters of Note" for my mountain dulcimer. He hosts this program and has raved about Steve Smith's dulcimer playing, so it should be a treat. Here ya go:
"Steven Smith will be on "Acoustic Blend" this Sunday (1:00-2:00PM Central Time at AM920 or www.wbaa.org) He'll be playing some of his new compositions, and I'll play selections from his "Shaker's Fancy" CD. Those of you who have met Steven know that he can play just about anything on the dulcimer, from Bach to blues. And if you haven't heard him, this is an opportunity to hear a fine dulcimer player and composer.
Please pass this along to any other people you think might be interested in hearing Steven; I think it will be a fun show, and some good music."
