Lyr Req: Theme from 'In a Land of Plenty' (BBC)

BBC America has been running this series, Land of Plenty, for the past few weeks. It starts out with a woman's voice singing a beautiful, haunting song. It sounds as though she is singing in Gaelic or something.

Anyone know what it is? Also, has anyone read the book the series was based on?

Not seen the series, read the book or anything but I have been searching
here and from your description I thought right away of Enya, so when I turned up this I guessed I was on the right track.

Thanks, Roger. I hadn't even thought of Enya, but you are right, it does have her sound. It's a beautiful sounding song, but they only ever play a snippet at the beginning.

The series has ben excllent; some fantastic acting. We've enjoyed it enough, I am going to get the book and read it. (Usually I do that in reverse order.:-)
