Subject: RE: Help: Festival websites? From: Hollowfox Date: 05 Jun 01 - 12:59 PM What country do you intend to perform in? What style(s) do you play? What instrument(s) if any do you play? What good are websites, except for perhaps an address to send the audition tape? I'm feeling a bit grumpy today, and it sounds like you haven't really worked this thing through. Where do you play now? Coffeehouses? Festivals? Your post makes it sound like you're not too active on the folk circuit, or you'd know where you wanted to get hired. For what it's worth, if you go to the "links" section at the top of this page, there's a link labeled "Folk Festivals" that might help, but it covers a couple of continents. You've got some homework to do, though. (grump) |
