For all those Mudcatters who cannot make up their minds The Chantey Cabin (www.chanteycabin.co.uk) has issued a CD called ALL ABOARD 18 of the top UK maritime Music Artists have each donated a track - in aid of Charity to make up a unique complilation album

Thanks Jan, I just looked to see if mr Garside was on that website - and he is!Now call me stupid but I couldn't find the CD you are refering too, am I really missing the obvious?

Can I also recommend Sheafknot, based in Sheffield you can't get much futher away from the sea.

here is the charity info from Jan

All Aboard is a compilation Cd we put together - with all the help and agreement of the artists - to avoid any confusion it was agreed that all profits would be given to charity and each artist was invited to nominate their own favourite charity. In the end three charities were nominated and these were RNLI, Save the Children, Save the Whales. Therefore each of these will benefit - in the appropriate number of votes each received.

The "Chanteycabin" website is a wonderful resource. I don't yet have the collection mentioned in this thread but I have gotten many wonderful recordings from the website.
