For those Mudcatters in the Westcountry, UK. There's a Folk Song Comp running in conjunction with the Plymouth International Maritime Music Festival. For amateurs and semi-pros only. There are 2 children's classes. Closing date June 30 2001. Trad or contemporary style, but must be original. Submissions on cassette. I've put a few entry forms in Plymouth Central Music Library and Swarthmore at Mutley Plain, Plymouth and forms will be distributed to folk clubs etc... What can you do? I've had several messages requesting comp forms, but two of the return email addresses don't connect. Sorry Margaret and Maxine!!
