Here we are folks, the long awaited broadcast of the blokes from across the pond. We'll start around 7pm EST and go till we our fingers bleed.

Don't forget that we are all in the ICQ Activelist Chat Room called FolkChat. The Folkchat ICQ # is 62415725. If you have any trouble, you can contact me at ICQ# 55532561 (mudcatmax) and I'll try to help. You can download ICQ from www.icq.com. You will also need the Activelist plugin for ICQ, also available from www.icq.com.

We will also try to be paying attention here in the threads.

As I've no wish to heckle, RealPlayer does fine for me (apart from the video, which makes them look a bit dicey, especially in close-up, but that's a minor quibble). I'll certainly have to bookmark episode 84!

WHen I got the message, "Server Overload", I clicked on "Details" and discovered that the notice was in error, a bug in the program and they offered everything I needed in order to correct it (an update that loaded automatically). Anyone else having "server overload" problem,, I suggest you check details.

I finally gave up after four hours and went to eat my supper (which was stone cold, by the way, but who cared!), so, I missed the end of the show. Thank Max for the archive!

Last night was the BEST -- can't thank you enough Max, Bert, Bill, Ian, Sam and all the other 'Catters there at Mudcat Central for letting us all enjoy your personal folk festival! Wunnerful, wunnerful, wunnerful music and folks . . .

durn what fun!...I have my ICQ chat set on automatic, so it reminds me it's Tuesday and time to poosha da button for da show. That way I get in early and avoid the waiting list.

I'm curious to know what server limit is and how it is determined. This could grow until there are lots of frustrated folks trying to get in. Is it just a matter of more powerful servers? Does one need a T-3 line?

I buggered off after nearly 3 hours, and you tell me it went on for at least FOUR! (Whoopee!! More to listen to!!)

Their entire visit, and hearing about it on Mudcat, has been wonderful. The radio show was absolutely fantastic. I hope lots of people who don't already know Bill, Sam and Ian and their music get to hear the archived show and volunteer to pay them lots of money in lots of venues in the future. They're top notch performers, and delightful people.

This things sounds to have exploded ! I missed last night - don't have the necessary gear - but next time I'll be ready (or better still - over in the US with them and hearing it all live).

I'm on countdown to welcoming Sam back home again and it's great to look forward to spending the entire weekend together at Beverley Festival. Show us what you are made of Sam - no weakening! Get lots of sleep on the way home - you won't get any once we get to Beverley!

Did folks know it is Sam's 22nd birthday on Saturday? Bet there's lots of you now dying to give him birthday kisses ! Life is good.
