We have an Irish performer in Boston who needs the words to "Dawning of the Morning". He says McNulty's.
Thanks all,
Bill

Subject: Lyr Add: DAWNING OF THE MORNING
From: GUEST
Date: 18 Jun 01 - 02:52 PM

At the dawning of the morning, the ship will be sailing
To take me away from the land of my birth,
And the feeling of sorrow that now has come o'er me
Seems to rob me of all I hold dearest on earth.

Hours ago when I parted with my own lovely sweetheart,
Sure I thought it was best to say farewell last night,
For I know in the morning, my heart will be broken,
And I dread the approach of our Irish daylight.

So these are the last hours I’ll spend in old Erin,
Oh, please, God, arrange it so I’ll see once more,
My own lovely land at the dawn of the morning,
And then be returning to my own native shore.

My mother will come to the station to cheer me.
Her lovely fat face sure I’ll never forget,
But the pain in her heart, although bravely she'll hide it,
I know will be there when we dance our last set.

Oh, yes, sure the boys will be there with the music.
They know how I loved all our dances the while,
And the music will ring as the train comes a-roaring,
To take me away from our own little isle.

So these are the last hours I’ll spend in old etc. etc.
