So I'm in Leamington (Ontario) last night, playing a place called Casper's Landing Marina... a really new place run by a guy who lived out east for many years... he'd booked me to 'host' a kitchen party/open mic... well, the first one went great, the Celtic Fest cancelled the next one, and last night we got rained out (the sky crying for John???)

That aside, Kurt and I fell to talking about the future of the gig... He's keen to keep it going, and I'm keen to be the guy who runs it... so I asked him...

"How far ahead should we make bookings then"

"Through December" he said!

Rick'll know what I mean when I say YES!!!! steady work!!! I'm gonna sit down in a bit and figure out how much $$ that'll be in total!

Whhhhheeeeeeeeeee!

There's only one down side.. with all these solo gigs landing on me of late, it's gonna be hard to fit in gigs with the band... and I'm REALLY keen to gig this band...

gotta get a demo recorded... gotta get $$ for a demo...

Bravo Clinton.

Pick the customer who:

A. Likes your music.

B. has an expensive watch

C. looks like they'd LOVE to impress their girlfriend or boyfriend.

D. Ask them to be your Executive Producer.

E. Buy them a drink.

F. The rest will be history.
