Subject: RE: Whatever happened to Jacquie Manning? From: GUEST,Tinker from Chicago Date: 07 Oct 10 - 05:14 PM If I dig far enough into the boxes in my house I will probably find the cassette of that album (she recorded one of my songs). It'd be no big deal to copy it IF Jacquie's okay with that. I suggest you contact her on Facebook (where she is listed as Jacquie Blevins Manning) and discuss it. She might have a copy lying around and, if not, you can get back to me, also on Facebook. Brian Leo |

Subject: RE: Help: Whatever happened to Jacquie Manning? From: GUEST,Phil Cooper Date: 27 Jun 01 - 10:52 PM Jacquie married Rich Prezzioso and they are touring the folk circuit as the Small Potatoes. A great group, two albums out. Reachable at Tuberspace@aol.com, not sure what their website is. Yes, she's a great singer and the spuds are a charming act to see. Margaret and I had the privilege of doing a double show with them once and had a great time. Would be up for doing that again anytime. I'm glad to see nice folks getting the acclaim they are. |
Subject: Whatever happened to Jacquie Manning? From: GUEST,Rambam99 Date: 27 Jun 01 - 10:45 PM Does anyone know whatever happened to Jacquie Manning, who used to play the Renaissance Festival circuit in the late 80s and early 90s? She had a temporary arrangement with another female singer, under whom they were called the 'Bawdy Beggar Girls' and as a solo she worked as 'gooseberry: queen of tarts'. She sang a great deal of classic Celtic music (the well in the valley-o) and funny stuff like 'the Scotsman' and 'dear boss (bricks)' She had one of the most beautiful voices I ever heard, and would like to know what happened to her after she quit the circuit. Are you still out there, Jacquie? |
